Challenge
The challenge was environmental with a wildlife corridor, bird sanctuary and protected animals. We had to route it in a way that minimized the impact to any endangered species or environmentally sensitive areas.
Solution
Great care and effort was put into the routing plan to make sure that we could do it in a way that maximized the golf and minimized the impact in the sensitive areas.
Result
Traversing Trabuco Creek and the Ladera Open Space Reserve, Arroyo Trabuco blends perfectly with the environment and, with the park like setting, gives the feel of playing in intimate, natural surroundings. With no housing to be built around the golf course, this experience will last forever. Arroyo Trabuco was named one of the 10 best new public/resort courses in 2004 by Travel & Leisure Golf.
